Terms of Service
Last updated: November 2026. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before utilizing the Zepsmart hyperlocal commerce network and associated portals.
1. Platform Architecture & Role
Zepsmart is a hyperlocal commerce technology platform designed to facilitate interactions between independent retail store merchants, prospective delivery partners, and end customers. Zepsmart provides ordering software, inventory synchronization, dispatch coordination, and settlement accounting tools.
2. Accounts and Authentication
Access to platform functions requires authentication via a verified Indian mobile phone number. You agree to provide accurate information and maintain custody of one-time verification passwords. The platform reserves the right to suspend or restrict accounts exhibiting fraudulent or abusive behavior.
3. Merchant Store Operations
Merchants registering a store on the platform are responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate product pricing, MRP, and inventory stock availability.
- Ensuring that goods supplied comply with applicable retail, safety, and trade standards.
- Verifying pickup codes provided by authorized delivery personnel prior to releasing packages.
- Submitting valid business documentation for administrator KYC review.
4. Delivery Fleet Guidelines
Delivery partners act as independent logistics providers. Partners must maintain valid driving credentials, appropriate vehicle registration, and adhere to safety standards during transit. Completion of delivery requires customer OTP verification at the doorstep.
5. Service Availability & Platform Readiness
Platform features are actively maintained and monitored. While we strive for high service reliability, temporary service interruptions may occur during scheduled maintenance, system upgrades, or technical onboarding phases.
